Christmassy vacation on the Isle of Wight meant finally visiting the Garlic Farm, and it was so worth it. I’m a big allium-fan, you could go so far as to call me a bulb-head.
We started off our meal with literally, just a pot of marinated garlic cloves, which were spicy and delicious, although maybe a bit too many for two people, but we managed to finish it.
I went for the Pizzola, sort of a deconstructed pizza stew with bread on the side, and a whole lot of garlic. The sauce was delicious and the mozerella, was smooth and mild, balancing out the tart tomatoes. There was maybe a bit too much bread for the sauce, but it was pretty delicous on it’s own!
I know this isn’t technically a pizza, but as a dish, it achieved 8/10!
